                       Personal Development Attribute

Attitude: "a way of thinking or feeling about someone or something, typically one that is reflected in a person's behavior."

Reflection: When you have a bad attitude, you can be rude to others around you. Not only that but you can hurt someone directly. When you have a good attitude, you respect others and you are positive. This can lead to success in many ways.

For example, when you are in class you should greet your teacher and your classmates. When you are instructed by the teacher to do a task the best thing is to listen and do what you're told. Keep in mind everyone has feelings. In this quote it is comparing bad attitude to a flat tire. With a flat tire on your car, your not going very far. Same thing with a bad attitude, if you don't change your bad attitude, like changing a bad tire, you wont go very far.

   Personal Development Quote

"A man without a goal is like a ship without a rudder."

(Thomas Carlyle)

Attribute: I think in this quote the attribute is accomplishment. The reason is because I think without goals how will you accomplish anything. according to this quote you need to set goals so that you have something to accomplish. The comparison Carlyle uses is a ship without a rudder, without a rudder you cant steer the ship to make it go the way you want it to. In other words, without goals how are you suppose to know where you will go in life.

Reflection: In this quote the attribute i came up with was Accomplishment. Without goals how are you suppose to create your path to success? Again in this quote he is comparing a man without goals to a ship without a rudder, so how will you accomplish your life dreams without goals. This quote has to do with my life planning goals because how will i know what path to take in order for me to be successful.

                       Personal Development Attribute

Assertiveness: “The quality of being self-assured and confident without being aggressive.”

Reflection: Assertiveness is such a nice word, and this quote proves it. This quote is showing how to solve a problem in a good manner. When you get angry you sometimes feel like you need to resolve with violence but there are different ways to solve your problems. For example this quote is referring to someone who repeatedly asks for money. When you answer aggressive, as shown in this quote, you can hurt someones feelings and even loose a friendship. Do not let that person take advantage of you either, this is called passive. Passive is when you let it slide each time, but it never gets better for you. When you are speaking in a passive and aggressive manner you will point out that you can do them the favor but also using a smart remark. Assertive is the way to go, you can explain how you feel without hurting anyone's feelings, you can get what you want but in a nice way.

Example: If one of your siblings keeps bothering you, you don't need to be aggressive. Just tell them in a nice way they are bothering you.

Accountability

Accountability: “the fact or condition of being accountable; responsible"

"It is not only what we do, but also what we do not do for which we are accountable."

                                                            (John Baptiste Moliere)

Reflection: What this quote means to me is when we have something we are responsible for, it is important to not only focus on what we already do, but to fix anything we didn't do that we are responsible for.
Example: If you are told to clean your room, since it is your responsibility, you can go beyond what is expected. This can not only make everyone around you happy but you as well.
